NEWS - LINC Ireland Seeks Program Reviewer ECEC

Award winning program is looking for an External Expert Quality Assurance Review and Report.

The Irish LINC Program is an award-winning 1-year blended learning program – continuing professional development – for early childhood teachers who are working within a pre-school service. At the end of the year, graduates become Inclusion Coordinators within their early years’ service and work to ensuring that all children, in particular those with additional needs, are included within the service.

LINC is an ambitious project – they will have 900-1000 early childhood teachers on the programme each year – over four years (2016-2020), and they aim to educate one person in 80% (3500+) of all services in Ireland. It has a wide reach and has the potential to have a significant impact on the inclusion of children with additional needs across Ireland.

LINC is now half-way through this project (year 2 students recently submitted their final module and year 3 students will start in September). As a result, they now wish to engage an expert to help them review the programme and provide an external quality assurance on the programme, along with reviewing and validating their quality assurance processes.

ISSA is keen to help LINC Ireland find a suitable expert (individual or group) to conduct this review, so please take note of the link below for additional information. You might be the one!

The deadline for responses is 12:00 (noon) on Friday, 10 August via email and the full details and specification is available at: https://bit.ly/2mivCCH
