Mission

The Collège Coopératif Rhône-Alpes (CCRA) is a French establishment of higher education social work for adults having already worked. The Cooperative College in the Rhone-Alps region acts:
o for the promotion of people and social solidarity,
o for training and research, from the practice of actors.
It develops its activity in the perspective of education and training "throughout life". Investment in training produces innovative knowledge.
- CCRA relies on COOPERATIVE PEDAGOGY, that recognizes in each adult his own knowledge and own skills to share ... This pedagogy fosters interactions within the group of players from different backgrounds in a non-competitive way, in an equal position, without denying the specific fields of each other.
- CCRA activities extend into ACTION RESEARCH AND EXPERTISE from NGOs and local government agencies, with the aim to support organisational transformation and formulation for action facing a constantly changing environment.
- The policy principles of CCRA are : social promotion, cooperative education, research and action. These principles are recognised and shared at regional and national levels, with the aim to enhance synergies and complementarities.
- In order to promote the "knowledge society" within the National Association of Colleges Cooperative, it aims for developing new areas of cooperation, training and research for those involved in the Social Solidarity Economy.
