ISSA members may be interested in this free of charge online study opportunity related to resilience in children offered on Coursera. Many professionals concerned with child resilience from around the world participated in 2014 (from more than 175 countries), when the course was offered for the first. The forum discussions in the in this online course were fascinating and thought-provoking. This "Mass Open Online Course" (MOOC) includes 6 weeks of content on what we are learning about resilience of children around the world, including children dealing with disasters, war, and conflict. The MOOC includes brief video lectures, interviews, case studies, and discussions. No background is necessary to participate - just interest!
