ISSA welcomes two new member organizations to our network

Tags: Norway, Turkey

We are very excited to announce that since early October 2017, two new organizations joined the ISSA network.

Firstly, there is Cultiva – Kristiansand Kommunes Energiverksstiftelse – from Norway.  Cultiva was established 6. December 2000 by the Municipality of Kristiansand. In 2011, they formulated a new vision for the Foundation: Kristiansand will become the leading city of culture for children in the Nordic countries. With this the city will become the best place for growing up and a city that children and their families alike must visit.

The objectives of the Foundation is to secure jobs and good living conditions in Kristiansand by providing grants to projects which set up art, cultural, and educational institutions or organisations that contribute to innovation, development and competence-building within Kristiansand.

Also, a second member organisation from Turkey joined us; ATIYE Education Institutions. ATİYE is an educational institution which runs a day care center in Ankara.

The facility has the capacity of 55 children and they are open 12 months per year. Their mission is to support child development in a holistic manner by providing professional day care. They believe that children should be active actors in their own learning.
