Consultant (Ukraine) wanted for development Transitional Models
Ukrainian Step by Step Foundation seeks a consultant for transition models for one of its programs. The focus of the assignment will be to help ascertain a shift from a system of childhood intervention, to inclusive early education.
The OSF-Early Childhood Program (OSF-ECP) – currently running in the Ukraine - is looking for a consultant to work on equity and social inclusion. OSF-ECP contributes to the development of quality inclusive policies and services. It also carries out activities such as targeting gaps in early childhood intervention and inclusive early education.
To help complete the Program, OSF-ECP is looking for a consultant with experience in developing transition models. More specifically from early childhood intervention, to inclusive early education and with a deep focus on children with special education needs and children at risk.
Ideally, the candidate will also bring experience in the design and implementation of trainings and intimate understanding of the region. The consultant will support the Enabling Childhoods Concept under a sub-theme of the project titled Equity and Social Inclusion. The purpose of this 19-month project in Ukraine, is to develop and pilot the model of transition for the children and their families. The focal regions are Kharkiv and Lviv.
The consultant is expected to provide technical support to Ukrainian partners. She or he will work closely with all project partners in Kharkiv and Lviv, as well as with Inclusive Resource Centers and local education authorities.
