The ISSA Conference is the key Early Childhood Development conference in Eurasia. It brings together some 450 participants from over 50 countries.

We are pleased to launch the Call for Proposals. Interested applicants are invited to fill in the requirements HERE before 10 February 2019

• Anyone interested in delivering a presentation, workshop or a session is invited to send an application (in English), from today until 31 January 2019.

Information related to the thematic focus, program and practical issues on the event and a complete calendar with important dates to remember are available on the conference site via conference.issa.nl On 28 February 2019, the Conference Program Committee will announce the selected proposals.

Conference highlights
This year’s conference (Leiden, The Netherlands) will take place on 18 & 19 June 2019. It will be preceded by a diverse offer of pre-conference workshops, taking place in parallel on 17 June, and optional site visits to be organized on 20 June. 

20th Anniversary
It will also mark ISSA’s 20th anniversary as a learning community devoted to Early Childhood Development, and the 25th anniversary of the Open Society Foundations’ Step by Step Program, upon whose legacy and resulting network ISSA continues to build.

We encourage all practitioners, training providers, researchers and local, national and international policy- and decision-makers in the field of Early Childhood Development to take part in this enriching event - a great opportunity for shared learning and joint explorations!
