  Teaching young children socio-emotional skills through a program for practitioners   Ensemble for Early Childhood Education is an ISSA Member established in 2016 whose mission is to have a systemic impact on early childhood education and care (ECEC) quality by supporting early childhood professionals on the field and through advocacy actions. One of their initiatives is a teacher training program focused on socio-emotional learning (SEL).

The Learning Centers Network initiated by Balkan Sunflowers connects 40 Learning Centers managed by different NGOs in Albania. These centers include preschool services, curriculum support, literacy and science programs, and an education mediator targeting the most vulnerable children and their families. The mediator works with schools and families to ensure children's school enrolment. Due to these efforts, 93% of the eligible children from the areas where centers are and mediators work enroll in the first grade fo school.

The Respect for Diversity and Peace Building Manual is an adaptation of the Regional PRECEDE Manual implemented in 48 kindergartens in the five Balkan countries: Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia and Macedonia. It also represents combination of the International Handbook of Professional Workers with Young Children in Conflict Areas developed by the International Peace Network and the Manual on Social and Financial Education of Young Children developed by the Aflatoun Secretariat.

The Planned Activities for Cohesive Education (PACE) program was initiated by Balkan Sunflowers Kosova in their learning centers. This program outline activities to be used with children within the national curriculum to improve their core competencies necessary to succeed in school and life. PACE incorporates science and literacy activities and technology based learning from the Balkan Sunflowers Kosovo"s Reading for Discovery and Learning Through Experiments project.
