Mission
The mission of Asociatia Educatia Neohumanista is to promote and develop Neohumanist education in Romania and on the international level. We believe progressive change in society begins with early childhood education. We envision a society based on values that include not
only equal rights for all human beings and celebrates diversity, but that also recognizes and respects the rights of all beings in our biosphere. We envision an educational system that is designed to awaken a lifelong love of learning and curiosity, while simultaneously awakening a deep love and compassion for all beings. We recognize the role of education in facilitating not only academic achievement, but also positive thinking, self-esteem, the ability to self-regulate and spiritual awareness. We also believe that education needs to encourage a service spirit and provide opportunities for meaningful, active contribution and participation in the world. Our focus is on bringing progressive change to the Romanian educational system through trainings, running model educational programs, and offering quality assurance of programs applying Neohumanist approaches.
