OUTPLAY is launching a new series of video diaries, offering a more personal look at the people, ideas, and experiences shaping the project.
Throughout the series, project partners will take turns sharing updates from their work, reflections from implementation, and insights into what they are learning along the way. The diaries will help audiences follow OUTPLAY as it moves from ideas and planning into activities with educators, children, families, and communities.
The first video features the Katarina Panikova, the project lead, who introduces the partnership and explains the purpose behind OUTPLAY. The project explores how outdoor play can support STEM learning, social and emotional development, inclusion, and belonging for children aged 3–10. It will develop practical resources, support educators, pilot activities in schools and kindergartens, and create community-based Outdoor Play Labs.
OUTPLAY is an Erasmus+ project co-funded by the European Union. The project is led by ISSA member Škola dokorán – Wide Open School, and implemented by a transnational consortium of early childhood education, research, and community-based organisations across Europe, including International Child Development Initiatives (the Netherlands), Fundacja Pro Fil (Poland), Pučko otvoreno učilište “Korak po korak” (Croatia), Pedagoški institut (Slovenia), and the International Step by Step Association(the Netherlands).
ISSA contributes through its Network Hub, supporting communication and dissemination across the project. The Hub will help partners share emerging resources, experiences, and learning with the wider ISSA network and early childhood field.
Watch the first OUTPLAY video diary and follow the partnership’s journey as the project develops.
