Leaders United for the Future of the Early Years: ISSA Launches Advisory Group

Across the world, those working to give young children the best start face a pivotal moment. Funding is shrinking just when the need for high-quality, inclusive services is growing. Families and professionals are being asked to do more with less, and cross-sectoral cooperation has never been more essential to ensure brighter futures for young children.

In response to this reality, and drawing on decades of shared impact and cooperation across Early Childhood Regional Networks, ISSA is convening a group of remarkable leaders to help shape the path ahead.

We are proud to announce the launch of a new Advisory Group, a collective of respected voices from research, policy, philanthropy, and practice who share a deep commitment to young children and those who work with and for them. These advisors bring wisdom, reach, and a shared sense of responsibility for the future of the early years. They will work closely with ISSA and the partners in the ECOS Institute to:

  • Provide strategic direction in navigating the changing landscape of early childhood;
  • Support the ECOS Institute as a space for innovation, collaboration, and action, and through this, help strengthen the early childhood field as a whole.
  • Strengthen ISSA’s capacity to sustain and expand its impact and visibility by supporting the ISSA Network and the ISSA Conference.

This is not just the formation of a group. It is a call to collective leadership. At a time when the promise of every child’s early years depends on bold ideas and united effort, these advisors will help ensure that our shared vision for young children and families remains within reach.

Together, we are reimagining what’s possible for early childhood development and reaffirming that now, more than ever, leadership for young children’s futures must be strong, connected, and inspired.
